2020 Polls: NDC plotting violence but we’re prepared for them – Asamoah Boateng

Ghanaian politician and former Member of Parliament (MP) for Mfantseman Constituency, Stephen Asamoah Boateng has revealed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) plans to cause havoc ahead of the December 7 polls.

“Today I know most of you have already made up your minds as to the one you’d vote for already. The only thing NDC wants to do is to bring security problems ahead of the elections but we know if they are listening to me.”

Stephen Asamoah Boateng who was campaigning at Kobina Ansa in the Mfantseman Constituency for Mrs Ophelia Mensah Hayford disclosed that NDC wants to use diversionary tactics to cause insecurity ahead of the 2020 elections.

“They attempted to do it at the electoral commission but we stopped them completely because we have our people on the grounds. They will use minor issues to cause havoc in the lead up to the election like complaining about the removal of some names from the voters register.” He disclosed at the event covered by

He revealed that government is prepared to foil any attempts made by the NDC to bring chaos and confusion in the lead up to the election but assured that President Akufo-Addo will win by a margin of 2 million votes.

“We won’t allow them to succeed with their agenda and by the time we finish counting the votes Nana Addo would have won by a margin of over 2 million votes”, Asamoah Boateng said
