In as much as their activities have an effect on commuters, the Western North Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr William Benjamin Assuah, has promised all chainsaw and galamsey operators who lost their job in previous governance to be reinstated
Chairman Assuah made this known to Pollo Esposito on De Beat Fm Morning Show and hinted that most of the chainsaw and galamsey operators are supporters of NPP, who has the party at heart, besides any government policy could influence their vote.
According to him, NPP policies were not to devastate the activities of chainsaw and galamsey operators but because of some officials’ selfish interest at the post, halted the activities of Galamsey and Chainsaw operations.
