7 people butchered in bloody cutlass fight between rival youth ‘Bases’ in Wa


Seven (7) persons have been left with various degrees of injuries following violent clashes between two youth groups within the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region, MyNewsGh.com can report.

The injured persons currently on admission at the Wa Regional Hospital are members of groups calling themselves Ztown and Jamaican youth who MyNewsGh.com gathered engaged in the cutlass fight on Friday night.

Sources reveal to MyNewsGh.com that it all started on Friday, November 2, 2018 at about 8pm when Malik Ahmed popularly known as (abinchi) and Mohammed Abdul belonging to the Jamaican group were assaulted by the other party at Zongo Lane.

Word got to their group that their members were under attack and they rushed to the scene well-armed for a reprisal attack resulting in the injuries as some were reported to have sustained cutlass wounds.
