One of the saddest news Ghanaians heard this week was the death of Kumawood actor Nurudeen Abass popularly known as Blinkz.
Hearing his unfortunate death comes as another sad and Black Wednesday for movie lovers and Ghanaians at large.
Since the death of the popular Kumawood actor, Ghanaians have been mourning at all corners throwing words of tribute on the bereaved family.
There is a belief that good or kind words are only incorporated in tributes for a departed person as a sign of respect for the dead.
However, a Kumawood actor who is identified as ‘Fameye’ seems not to be happy with the trend.
He has descended heavily on the late Abass calling him a ‘fool’ base on what he claimed as self-assassination.
Mr. Fameye stated that the late Abass himself called for his unfortunate death by involving in a fight that doesn’t concern him in any way.
He explained that the late Abass was called by a friend to come and fight on his behalf and Abass with his overconfidence attitude made the move.
The Kumawood actor further narrated that Abass was stabbed on the neck the moment he made a rush on the opponent and that was the end of his life.
Well, according to reports, he was stabbed by a man he was fighting with at Sawaaba, a Muslim community in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
Information reaching us has it that one of the people who stabbed him identified as Sumaila Tijani has been arrested by the police in connection to the murder.
A source at the Ashanti Regional Police Command confirming the arrest said the suspect Sumaila was arrested at his hideout at Atimatim in the Tafo-Pankrono Municipality of the Ashanti region.
Per the customs of Islam, Abass had to buried after spending a day at the mortuary and Kumawood stars were there to support the family.
