Adjei-Mensah Korsah is my only hope for justice – Mother of Techiman shooting victim Ayaric Abdallah

Madam Victoria Mensah, mother of Abdallah Ayaric the 18-year-old-boy who was hit by a bullet in the shooting incident by security officers that killed him and another during the collation of the 2020 election results at Techiman South, has disclosed that she believes it is only Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah who can help the family seek justice.

She said “I believe in him. He is a good man and would not make my efforts be in vain. Ever since this incident, he has supported me. He visits me all the time and does for me whatever needs to be done”.

She disclosed again that the nominee is her brother (her father’s brother’s son) and the son who died is a nephew of the Deputy Minister-Designate for local government for which reason she is of the strong conviction that Korsah would not overlook seeking justice for his own nephew.

Madam Victoria Mensah said that is why she needs her brother to be able to push for justice for them subsequently unleashing a major blow to persons who seek to do political propaganda with the unfortunate death of the 2 people in the incident.

Mother of the deceased together with her husband who had travelled all the way from Techiman in the Bono East Region just to lend their support to the vetting of the Deputy Minister nominee who appeared before the appointments committee of Parliament last week.

Earlier speculations had suggested that the minority might not show up at the vetting in protest of what they call government inaction in bringing the security officers who committed the act to book but it subsequently appeared that they did not show up for the entire vetting of all four (4) nominees who were due to be vetted on the day because they were out to plant trees.

Others who appeared before the committee were Hajia Lariba Zuweira Abudu Deputy Minister-Designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Amidu Issahaku Chinnia Deputy Minister for Water and Sanitation and Diana Asonaba Dapaah Deputy Attorney General and Justice Deputy Minister-designate.
