Afenyo-Markin Commissions 4th Library Project at Essuekyir

The people of Essuekyir in the Effutu Constituency were beaming with smiles as they witnessed the commissioning of a community library on Monday, 17th August, 2020.
Christened Opanyin Kweku Dadzie Library, the Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, unveiled it amidst cheers and applause from the townsfolk.
The project was singlehandedly financed by the Member of Parliament, making it the fourth community library he has constructed for his people.
In handing over the project to the Ghana Library Authority, Honourable Afenyo-Markin emphasized that only education can accelerate the development of the people and the community and urged them to make the edifice useful.
He pledged to continue with his ultimate goal of making the Effutu Dream a reality and asked the people of Effutu to support him.
In attendance were Mr Hayford Siaw, the Managing Director of the Ghana Library Authority and other dignitaries.
