Agona West NDC Donates To Inmates of Osamkrom Prison on Boxing Day

It was a sight to behold when the Agona West Constituency Executives led by our indefatigable Chairman, Maxwell Kofi Quist in collaboration with George Gyamfi of Lucky Girl Ventures fame visited the OSAMKROM prisons in Gomoa OSAMKROM ostensibly to celebrate the yuletide with the inmates, giving true meaning to both the egalitarian principle of the NDC and the occasion.
Mr Gyamfi in his speech whiles addressing the inmates recollected nostalgically his time spent in prison, but even whiles incarcerated, he never lost hope on himself and subsequently had to loan money to one prison officer who was very insolent towards him while serving jail term upon his release and therefore challenged them to keep their hopes alive and that all was not lost for them, if God could transform his life then he will do same for them, to which they shouted in unison- Amen!
In his brief but inciting remarks, the NDC Chairman bemoaned the unprecedented hardships levels in the country exclusively occasioned by H.E Nana Addo’s mismanagement of the economy which is affecting all facets of our lives, however, he prophesied that God had better plans for them and so does the NDC, hence, they shouldn’t despair and feel neglected but take solace in the presence of the NDC on this memorable day.
The In-charge of Industries( I of I), D.S.P Richard Baffoe Bonney, who received the items on behalf of the inmates profusely thanked the Agona West NDC executives for putting smiles on their faces and further appealed for support in the form of building materials to continue with their infrastructure expansion projects since congestion was their major problem, which leads to several health complications to both inmates and officers alike.
In all, 200Kg of rice and 1,000pieces of Fante Kenney was presented to them with a pledge to make it an annual ritual whiles also taking note of their request for support in expanding their infrastructure base.
The communications officer, Africa Zion, whiles rapping up as Master of Ceremony, reminded the inmates that, though we were not there to solicit for their votes for the NDC in 2020, we will surely take our campaign to them when the time was due, to which they spontaneously retorted to our pleasant surprise; 2020, We go
    show Nana!
The team left the premises after exchanging pleasantries and taking some photos amidst tight security concerns.
Let’s continuously brighten the corner where we are and surely the guilty dog will

“hang” itself way ahead of the 2020 elections.
