The former Municipal Chief Executive for Ejisu municipality in the Ashanti region, Mr. Afrifa Yamoah Ponkoh has disclosed that Akufo Addo-led administration has not establish a single developmental project in the Ashanti region since it assumed office.
According to him, all the infrastructural development projects in Ashanti region were established during the tenure of the former president Mahama.
The former MCE said the residents of Ashanti region are the most sorrowful people in the country who are suffering from the hands of this government.
In an interview monitored by MynewsGhana.com content editor Odiasempa Kofi Boadi ,Hon. Yamoah Ponkoh said all the uncompleted projects left behind by former President Mahama have been abandoned by the Akufo Addo-led administration.
According to him, Ghana is in the state of retrogression instead of progression under the leadership of Akufo Addo.
“Akufo Addo is not performing, he is underperforming”
“There is nothing happening here in terms of developmental projects here if you have sighted some developmental projects in Accra. The only developmental projects in Ashanti region are those established by former President Mahama” he said on Accra-based Accrafm on Friday, August 10.
Commenting on the ministerial reshuffle, Yamoah Ponkoh said Akufo Addo want to empty the state coffers with his huge government size.
