Breaking: NDC Savannah Region Secretary arrested by soldiers

The Savannah Region Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Salisu Be-Awuribe, has been arrested by the military.

Salisu Be-Awuribe was arrested at Sumpini on the Busunu Damongo Road for an alleged Facebook post on Thursday.

In the post, the NDC regional secretary lists some items including ‘Military Officer’ and completes it by mentioning ‘Connect the dots, we are tracking’.

The military were not at hand to respond to the arrest reports.
