A 46-year-old Physically Challenged Radio Presenter and Businessman, Mr. Isaac Nana Kojo Antwi is challenging 180 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives(MMDCEs) applicants in the Central Region.
Mr. Kojo Antwi who is vying for the position as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti-Mokwaa stormed the vetting place with a white dress in his wheel chair, happily stated to the media that he is the best person to represent the President at the Twifo Atti-Mokwaa District Assembly.
Speaking to the media shortly after his vetting, he disclosed that the panelists were shocked and impressed to see a disabled person in his wheelchair challenging others to prove a point that disability is not inability.
Mr. Kojo Antwi was of the strong view that when President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and Assembly Members within the District give him the nod as the District Chief Executive, he will work hard to impress the President and people of Twifo Atti-Mokwaa most especially Assembly Members “because what an ablde person can do he can also do it and even far better”.
The applicant promised to transform Twifo Atti-Mokwaa District if he gets the opportunity to serve the people of the District as their DCE as well as bring back neglected party foot soldiers into the party by solving their problems once and for all within 100 days in his office.
He again promised to work hard with the President to increase the Disabled District Assembly Common Funds to improve the lives of Physically Challenged especially Physically Challenged students.
