Birim North DCE, Hon. Raymond Nana Damptey has suspended some staffs for being very late to work on Monday 28th May,2018
Recently lateness attitude towards work in the country has become uncontrollable and that is leading to low productivity of work done at the end of the day.
Speaking with Abena Pokua on Agoo fm’s midday news, DCE of Birim North constituency Hon Raymond Nana Damptey said he has suspended almost 89 workers of the assembly for lateness, to make sure that order works at the assembly.
He said workers are suppose to report at the work place exactly 8: 30 am but at that time only 11 staffers were present so he took the right decision to sack all the rest and has given them a day on suspension. He said last week Wednesday they met with the workers and some of them were behind schedule.
According to him, he will ensure that lateness attitude towards work is change in the counstituency.
Cocoa Seedlings to Farmers
According to the DCE, Birim North district Cocoa board has given farmers in the district one Million, eighty nine thousand, and five hundred cocoa seedlings to promote farming in the district.
Armed robbery cases
On armed robbery cases on the New Abirm road, the DCE assured that measures are being put in place to solve the canker.
“We have place measures in place to build a police barrier to end all the activities of robbers on the road .Currently about 180 operation vanguard are on post protecting the lives of people in the community so within two weeks time the police post would be ready “he noted
