The National Organizer for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Joshua Hamidu Akamba has described the vice president of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia as a comedian who has taken the comedian job away from the hands of the original comedians thereby rendering them jobless.

Akamba made this declaration while speaking to the media.
Akamba who is noted for thoroughly criticizing Mr. Bawumia indicated that the vice president of the country has taken over the work of comedians in the country instead of focusing on Managing the Economy.

Joshua Akamba explained that, instead of the vice president who is also the head of the economic management team of the country to focus on his Job to get the economy that they have destroyed back on track, he just mount platforms and crack jokes to make people laugh and applaud him leaving his core function as a vice President.

Mr. Joshua Hamidu Akamba said;

“When I said Dr. Bawumia is an economic comedian most of you didn’t understand, today, under Dr. Bawumia, a dollar to Cedis is ¢6.00 and the economy of the country is projected to grow at 0.9% and is likely to go into negative and the Man who is supposed to be in charge of the economy is only going round the country cracking jokes for people to laugh and applaud him, is that not the job of a comedian? “, Akamba fires.

According to the lead organizer for the NDC, Self-proclaimed economic messiah as Dr Bawumia parades himself, he was expecting well structured economic reforms that will not reflect only on papers but also in the lives and pockets of citizens of this country. But the exact opposite is what is happening.

As we speak, lorry fares have increased, prices of oil has increased astronomically, prices of goods and services are skyrocketing just to mention a few. Many Ghanaians are complaining about the hardships and the worst situation they are going through.

Meanwhile, Bawumia is not ashamed of himself, but keeps on using data which sounds good on paper but very poor in reality when you compare it to the current condition of the people.

The comics has become too much. Now comedians like Agya koo, lil win, etc are loosing opportunities because of Bawumia’s performance and popularity in the comic world.

Akamba also  charged Agya Koo, Kalyboss, Kose and other comedians in the country to rise up and take their comedy jobs from Dr. Bawumia before things get out of hand.
