GhanaWeb cameras captured security personnel put up a checkpoint at the Legon Okponglo traffic light on Day 9 of the lockdown.
A police patrol truck had been used to seal off one part of the road while the other had been barricaded, to allow them make checks on road users plying that road.
Commendably, the ever evasive ‘okada’ riders were equally checked by the Police Service before they were allowed passage.
During President Akufo-Addo’s fifth address on the updates of the country’s state regarding the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic, he stressed on the need for increased vigilantism by security personnel enforcing the restrictions directive, albeit professionally.
