Former Deputy Youth and Sports Minister Sylvester Azantilow dead

A former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports under the former Jerry John Rawlings regime, Mr Sylvester Azantilow is dead, mynewgh.com has confirmed.

Family sources revealed that he died on July 21, 2020 and would be buried on 8th of August at Sandema at the Royal Burial Grounds.

An announcement confirming his death from the family reads “The Head of the ROYAL AYIETA FAMILY, Paul Awentami Afoko. The Sanciem Nab and the entire members of the Builsa traditional council, deeply regret to announce the sudden demise of Hon. Sylvester Ateteng Azantilow, a Prince of the Royal House of Sanderna which sad event occurred on Monday the 20th of July, 2020. He was a former MP for Builsa North, a Deputy Minister for Youth & Sports and a Deputy National Director for NADMO.

Burial will be on Saturday the 8th of August at Sandema at the Royal Burial Grounds. Funeral arrangements will be announced later”
