Popular Ghanaian musician,Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah,widely known has Mzbel has disclosed that lyrics of current highlife songs enjoying massive airplay doesn’t make sense
According to Mzbel, after a careful study of Ghana’s music industry, she has come to a conclusion that there is very little sense in the content of many Ghanaian hit songs.
To her, there were much sense in songs of her time compared to what Ghanaians are witnessing today from current crop of musicians.
Speaking on GTV on Saturday, Mzbel stated that although he does not fault current Ghanaian artistes for churning out ‘garbage’ in their desperate attempts to secure themselves hit songs.
However, she rather blame the Ghanaian public for glorifying and running after musicians who are polluting the music industry with ‘noise’, which does not make any sense.
