I WILL WORK IN THE INTEREST OF ALL PRIVATE SCHOOLS – NEW PUSAG PRESIDENT SAYS

Shamsu Alhassan from Zenith University College on the 27th – 30th May, 2021 won the Private University Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG), elections to become President for the 2021-2022 academic year at the Perez University, Wineba.

Mr Shamsu Alhassan, heave in sight of victory at the end of a tight contest, beating three(3) students who also chased dreams to become PUSAG President.

After a total of 150 votes cast, Mr Shamsu Alhassan, the winner got 136, while Desmond Nii Amaa Ollennu sank to the floor, devastated with only 3 votes in his back pocket. Raynolds Agbenyenu, roared at nobody in particular, got 4 of the votes with 7 votes rejected.

Shamsu, in an address served PUSAG to note that, he is ready to work in the best interest of every private student and also appreciate the support given to him.

“I state emphatically that am ever ready to work in your interest to make sure every student wishes becomes a reality”

Meanwhile, the office of PUSAG is designed to be held only a year before another set of executives will be rotated for positions.
