The first car used by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah when he was prime minister is reportedly rotting away at the national museum. This was revealed by popular author Rodney Nkrumah-Boateng in a post on his social media page. In a Facebook post, he said he had gathered that the said car, a Cadillac saloon has been left at the national museum for some time now.

Having led the fight for independence, he is regarded by many as the founder of the country, despite acknowledgement of the other members of the ‘Big Six’. Meanwhile, Ghanaians on social media are outraged by the fact that the car used by Ghana’s first Prime Minister has been left to rot.
