More heart break as Bawumia’s mum would’ve been 82 years old today

The Late mother of Ghana’s Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia would have been 82 years today if she was alive.

The mother of the Vice President was born on 15 September 1939.

She died on Monday, September 13, 2021, but was laid to rest closer to her husband’s grave at Kperiga, a suburb of Walewale in the West Mamprusi municipality in the North East.

The Vice President paid his last respect to the mother before the National Chief Imam; Sheikh Dr Osmanu Nuhu Sharabutu led a powerful congregation to observe an Islamic prayer (Janaza) before her interment.

The burial rites was attended by several dignitaries from both the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
