My greatest regret in life…-Kennedy Agyapong

The assertive and outspoken member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has shared some of his life’s biggest regrets with the public the especially the youth.

Honourable Kennedy is noted for addressing issues without fear nor favour. However, the 60-year-old- man shared one of the things he really regretted doing, thus, his verbal attacks on Judges.

The Assin Central MP said, he has reflected on the way he reacted towards the Judges and has realised that he went overboard with his choice of words at the time.

Kennedy Agyapong exploded after a Judge gave a verdict which the legislator felt he was treated unfairly. This led him to expel words he later realised were not decorous and was an indictment of Ghana.

The case is that of one Susan Bandoh and Christopher Akuetteh Kotei suing Mr Agyapong, Ibrahim Jaja, Nana Yaw Duodu aka Sledge, and the Inspector General of Police in a land matter.

Among other things, Mr. Agyapong was also alleged to have threatened to “face the judge”.

Speaking on a radio interview, the Businessman cum MP revealed that he has ever since felt so bad about the incident between him and the Judge.

However, speaking in an interview on Accra-based Asaase radio, the MP said he felt bad after the incident.

He said;

“In fact, the language I used on that judge is my deepest regret so far in life so far though I have had my own share of broken hearts, that singular actions made me feel bad.

“I’m a human being and it is not because he is a judge but honestly I went too far just that I was pissed with the way the guy behaved,” .

He advised that it is good for everybody to exercise restraint anytime one is unhappy about something.
