Award-winning Broadcast Journalist, Kwame Adinkra has denied media reports that the Director-General of Police Research and Planning, COP Nathan Kofi Boakye held a lavish birthday party for him.
According to him, it was a dinner and neither a party nor lavish at the publication sought to suggest.
He has since unreservedly apologized to COP Kofi Boakye for any inconvenience the publication might have caused.
Kwame Adinkra wrote “My attention has been drawn to your publication “COP Kofi Boakye throws lavish birthday party for Kwame Adinkra” and would like to state emphatically that l, together with a few friends of mine, had a simple dinner at the private residence of COP Kofi Boakye to observe my birthday.
The dinner was not a ‘party’ neither was it ‘lavish’ as the publication sought to portray.
I would, therefore, like to apologise to our guest, COP Kofi Boakye, and anyone who has been affected by the publication.
