FIFA’s Ethics Committee after a long scrutiny to former Ghana FA president Kwesi Nyantakyi’s bribery scandal has jabbed him with a lifetime ban from all football related issues including football administration.
The adjudicatory chamber’s final pronouncement on the case was made publicly in the late hours of Tuesday through an official press release after a 75days suspension to the Wa All Stars bankroller.
Nyantakyi’s bribery scandal came following the renowned undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ No.12 Expose’ on the corrupt practices affecting football in Ghana,where many respected football administrators in the country were caught in camera indulging in fraudulent practices where the former Ghana FA president was captured receiving a reported amount of $65,000 from a disguised business man for investment.
Kwesi Nyantakyi also held the position as the first vice president to CAF president Ahmed Ahmed and a FIFA Executive Council member.
