Peak Milk has announced that it will partner with the biggest Liverpool supporters group in Ghana known as “Mighty Reds Ghana”.
The vibrant group has embarked upon a nationwide registration exercise to bring the thousands of lovers and followers of Liverpool together under one umbrella when it comes to charity initiatives and mobilizing members.
Dozens of Liverpool Ghana supporters groups have been in existence for many years with the current initiative aimed at supporting children, youth and community projects across Ghana.
A coordinator of Mighty Reds Ghana Dominic  Addo has explained that because Liverpool is known as “The Reds” globally, they have decided to officially launch the group and a number of initiatives on Valentine’s Day 14th February.
“Mighty Reds Ghana started as a WhatsApp platform long ago and our numbers continue to grow. I won’t be surprised at all if there are over 1 million Liverpool supporters in Ghana. That’s why we’re all planning to come together to contribute cash, clothing and other items to support worthy causes in our communities especially where children and the youth are concerned”.
The official launch of Mighty Reds Ghana would also coincide with Ghana’s national Chocolate day.
The programme of activities would take place over three consecutive days 14th,  15th and 16th February.
Already, the group’s planned social initiatives have attracted a number of partners.
The first to confirm support for Mighty Reds Ghana is Peak Milk.
The Mighty Reds Valentine campaign is also to encourage Ghanaians to patronize made in Ghana chocolates and other made in Ghana products.
Saturday, February 16 which marks the climax of the campaign is set for a massive fun-fitness walk with Aerobics, health screening, music networking and fantastic give-aways commencing from Hisense East Legon to the Accra Mall.
To make the campaign fun and memorable, a social media campaign will be activated on Valentine’s day.
Ghanaians are encouraged to snap a photo with a friend, a loved one or even a stranger and post it on any social media platform with the hash tags;  #MightyRedsGhanaLoveand #MightyRedsGhanaFortheChildren
