The Head pastor of Builders of Salvation Church, Agbobga branch, Apostle Samuel Asiedu Ampofo has urged Ghanaians to refrain from acts of evil that could endanger the country’s peace and stability.

According to him, secret agendas and orchestrations by unseen assiliants, may disrupt the peace that Ghana has enjoyed in a long time.

Admonishing members of the media who had visited his church during the festivities, Apostle Asiedu said fervent prayers must be made to avert all intended evil directed towards the nation.

“Christians must pray without ceasing because there are so many friends who always plan to destroy us” he said.

Drawing inspiraton from the Bible, the spritual leader retold how King Herod had planned to kill Jesus Christ after his birth using the wisemen from the East as a bait.

He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

Nonetheless, the wisemen realised Herod’s request was only an evil whim to thwart God’s plan for humanity.

Apostle Asiedu therefore called on Ghanaians to be quick to expose the evil whims and caprices of the unscrupulous whenever they find them.

“Allow the nature of Jesus Christ to have a bearing on your endeavours in order to promote and embrace peace,” he said.

He further admonished that while entering the new year, Ghanaians do so with a positive mentality geared towards moving the country to a better place adding that, “We must all work hard.”
