Alliance Drivers of Ghana has today 19th March made a press release to condemn the act of some drivers towards Police Officers on Ghana roads.

Press Release as Follows..

19TH MARCH 2019

BY ALLIANCE DRIVERS OF GHANA FORMERLY DRIVERS FOR CHANGE CAPE COAST BRANCH

It’s barely three months now since we entered 2019 and GOD has been faithful to us all. Frankly speaking, it seems to us that, we are not appreciating the peaceful and sound economic atmosphere we currently have in our country.

However, our attention has been drawn to some recent misunderstanding and back to back confusion between pedestrians, motorists, drivers, the police and motor traffic operators.

Firstly, how can a police officer Chase a driver from pedu junction to nyamoransa just to assault him because it is believed that the driver has flouted a road safety regulation.
Secondly at Kasoa recently, a driver and a mate assaulted a police officer badly which is very barbaric and need not to be encouraged.

We are calling for calm and want to use the write up to appeal to all stakeholders to be much concerned about the relationship between pedestrians, drivers motor traffic operators and police officers because it’s unhealthy and doesn’t urger well.
We seriously condemn it and charge all affected persons to be discipline and adhere to rules and regulations to ensure sanity on our roads.

God Bless Ghana
God Bless Drivers

Chairman cape coast branch
Kweku Boateng

P.R.O
Samuel Adu yeboah.
