Listen To Article

Memories of great people flood the minds of their friends and loved ones anytime their names pop up. So it is for the late hiplife artiste, Terry Bonchaka. However, the mother of the legend Terry Adjetey Bonchaka, Madam Charlotte Adjetey has found solace in Shatana as she described her as her father.

It was alleged that Dance Hall King, Shatta Wale, and King Ayisoba were taking care of her but this is claimed not to be true by Terry’s mother. According to Terry’s mom, several Ghanaians are of the strong opinion that Shatta Wale and King Ayisoba are now taking care of her needs.

In a recent interview with Kobby Blakk on 3FM, Madam Charlotte lamented on how Shatta Wale and King Ayisoba abandoned her for years now.

In the same interview, she was of the opinion that her son, the late Terry Bonchaka played a major role in unleashing the talents of these two great musicians yet they barely appreciated her as the mother of their former icon.

She said;

“I’m not expecting that much from both Ayisoba and Shatta Wale but they should have at least remembered that Terry is no longer existing in this world thus fending for myself will be quite challenging.

“It’s so sad that they have not been taking care of me for years now but fortunately Shatana is currently playing the fatherly role in my life by way of catering for my needs.

Friday 0ctober 30, 2020 marked the seventeenth anniversary of Terry
