Shatta Wale, Ghana’s self-proclaiming Dancehall King, has caused a stir on social media with a video of him dancing crazily.
In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, a shirtless Shatta Wale was seen in a pair of shorts as he screamed while dancing to a new song. At some point, Shatta Wale decided to show some very crazy dance moves and he even mimicked a cripple.
Shatta Wale’s video has caused a lot of reactions from social media users since it surfaced online. While Shatta did not mention any names, some people have concluded that he was mocking Stonebwoy and have gone ahead to blast him.
@kevindebrah said: “Shatta wale please mocking someone will bring u down….Stonebwoy is going higher n higher everyday…bur look at u ..u still remain the same.”
@ikeberry1 wondered how Shatta’s physically challenged fans would feel about the video: “So dis one too got fans, so how will your disabled fans fill. You are almost 60 years and you can’t motivate we the youth, village champion.”

@sheilsgyimah thought Shatta was behaving so because of jealousy: “This guy will never grow up. Look at what enviness and jealousy is making you do?you really have a long way to go.” But there were equally a good number of defenders like @necessary_badness who wrote: “He did about three different dance moves in the video and asked what we will call it so I thought people will wanna know which of the moves but rather reading meanings into it.. Hhhmmm smh Ghana is a village ampa… I swear walahi #Truetalkmana.”
@dj_fuad wished something bad for Shatta:”@shattawalegh your legs are already in the hands of a DR. with amputation object”
And @florencesowah felt: “Most Ghanaians are full of negativity… if not the comment I went through, I wouldn’t have known he is referring to Stone as some of you are saying. But sometimes we shouldn’t link the happiness of someone to negativity ok.
What if he is not doing what some of you think cos his caption wasn’t an insult or something. We all know the misunderstanding between them but we shouldn’t be adding more fire.” The song which Shatta Wale was dancing to is titled ‘Correct’ and it is one of his yet-to-be-released songs.
