Rex Omar who is the Chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) who is also known for his support for the NDC party has made it known to the public that, artiste manager Bulldog is likely to be granted bail today.
Rex Omar made this known in an interview on Happy FM today. He said, “Bulldog will be granted bail today which will be January 13th 2021.”
He added that, Bulldog was taken by some men from the Jubilee House and was sent to the BNI office for investigation. Thus, the BNI officers were not the once who arrested Bulldog.
Meanwhile, the Coalition of Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold (CACM) is calling for the immediate release of Bulldog from the custody of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
In a statement issued dated January 12, the group expressed surprise over the swift manner with which Bulldog was picked up.
“Our attention has been drawn to the arrest of Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson popularly known as Bulldog in the showbiz industry due to his comments made on UTV on 9th January, 2021 in relation to Menzgold saga. We roundly condemn the Gestapo-style in which the entertainment icon was arrested,” they stated.
However, the group admitted that the comments made by Bulldog could have been expressed in a different manner which would not have led to his arrest.
