My News Ghana has chanced on a video on social media where two men who are executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP) were seen exchanging slaps during a live radio discussion at Eagle Fm in Walewale.
Ali Wuni Abdul-Majeed a Communications Officer of the NDC and Mustapha Sumani, the North East Regional Treasurer of the NPP traded slaps in a heated argument over the achievements of their parties in government.
Mustapha Sumani, the North East Regional Treasurer of the New Patriotic Party argued that his party has clocked a lot more achievement than sweet-talking NDC and so he believes the electorates of Ghana would confirm the New Patriotic Party (NPP) again come December 7.
Making his argument, he said, “NPP has created 6 regions and we need to praise them. Gonjas were looking for their own region for over 20 years but it has been achieved under the current administration. We used our sense to ensure that new regions were created.”
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) executive in return asked whether the NPP executive was sensible enough to be making such assertions.
The language used by the NDC executive did not excite the NPP man in any way which caused a further rise in tension leading to the exchange of slaps between the two politicians.
