The man was forcing his way into a conference room where the president was giving an address – The angry man was captured behaving aggressively, and struggling with the police – He was heard saying that “there is corruption ongoing there that is why they won’t allow me to go” The US police have successfully stopped an aggressive man from possibly harming President Akufo-Addo at a conference.
In the video seen by yen.com.gh making rounds on social media, the man was trying to force his way into the conference room where the president was making an address. He was bounced by the security at the entrance, and the police came in.
The angry man was seen engaging in a scuffle with the police to be allowed to go inside, but he was denied access. Perhaps, the security felt it would not be safe for him to go in there with the president, so they stopped him. The man was heard screaming that Akufo-Addo is corrupt, and whatever they were doing at the conference is to aid corruption, therefore, they did not want to allow him to enter. “There is corruption there and they don’t want us to ask questions and so they don’t want me to go inside,” the man protested.
He also asked the security man what right he had to deny him entry and chase him out, to which the security man answered: “This is America and I have the right.”
