When we avoid mafia, insults we’ll win 2024 easily – John Boadu

General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) John Boadu is of the belief that the ability to win power in 2024 is in the hands of the political party.

He believes that they need to work at ensuring that there is a united front ahead of the keenly anticipated election and victory will be theirs.

John Boadu made this known when he spoke on Accra-based OKAY FM in an interview Monday morning.

He believes that the party’s primaries should be devoid of insults and unnecessary mafia that will leave some party members pained.

“In 2024 I can tell you that we will win. All we need is to listen so that the Parliamentary and Presidential primaries we will have in the party, no one will use certain words or approach that will not make the party united,” he said in the interview.

Adding that “what we are doing in the country as of now is glaring enough for the needed electoral victory we are talking about and it will manifest in 2024.

BREAKING THE EIGHT

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) says it is ready to break the eight-year cycle that has characterized the country’s political space.

The party believes that the agenda being run by the government will be resolute and will change lives such that the party will be attractive to the people of Ghana.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is optimistic that he will hand over power to an NPP President in 2025 because the people of Ghana will note what he’s done in order to vote massively for the party.

However, the party currently is not aware who will take over from the President but some big names have popped up including that of the Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Alan Kyeremanteng, Afriyie Akoto, Boakye Agyarko among other have shown interest in leading the party in 2024.
