Mr. Jesse Jantuah, manager to Asante Kotoko’s Burkinabe international Sogne Yacouba has practically refused involving himself in any spiritual dealings, purported to salvage the striker’s recent goal drought.

Recent report indicates a Kotoko circles member had went on-air to point-out the chemistry behind the player’s recent goal drought to having a spiritual implications. Hence mentioning some individuals known to be involved in the player’s precent predicament.

The once deadly striker have gone seven(7) official matches without a goal to his name, which have left the porcupine warriors fans terrified.

Speaking to Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, Mr. Jantuah quizzed “do we want Yacouba scoring or Kotoko winning.”

“His input in the team is more important than his personal glory.”

“A lot of things have happened since Yacouba came to Ghana. He was once banging in the goals and even scoring at the Asokwa end of the pitch where Kotoko was finding it difficult to score in his early days in Ghana.”

“The circles came to me but l told them we’re not interested in any spiritual dealings.”

“I can’t stop them[the circles] from doing what they want to do. Yes l do pray for him also but if he is not scoring now, let’s take it as if he is not destined to do so now.”

“Yacouba is going to score very soon. He’s going to score those important goals for them.”

“As a player,he is not perturbed about what is happening. His focus is for Kotoko to win and has always been telling me how grateful he is with the concerns the supporters are raising towards his goal drought,” Mr Jesse noted.
