Youngest Hon. Member in The Ketu North Municipality Wins Humanitarian Award

The Youngest Honourable Member in the Ketu North Municipality of Volta Region in the Person of Ahiabli Ernest has won a humanitarian award for his contribution to the development and progress of people who need help in society.

Mr. Ahiabli Ernest Is the fourth Son of Mr. Ahiabli Ernest and Mrs. Tettey Getrude who have a passion for supporting the needy and the vulnerable in deprived Communities and has made that their topmost priority.

He has been involved so many humanitarian activities in Volta Region and Beyond, Some of these activities are the Free Circumcision Project, Capacity Projects, Orphans Projects, Free Health Insurance Projects,, Teenage Mother’s Projects, Mental health Projects, and So many others.

Mr. Ernest Ahiabli is the Deputy Majority Speaker of Ketu North Youth Parliament and International Certified Volunteer who has been working with a number of NGOs here in Ghana.

He is a journalist, Humanist, Feminist, and Fashion Activist. Ernest is Currently Coordinating a number of NGOs here in Ghana and Some of these NGOs are Shakes ORPHANAID Foundation and Love Foundation. and also doubles as second DEPUTY speaker of the Youth Model Parliament here in Ghana.

Volta Youth Award is a grand occasion where young Voltarians gather for recognition of their achievements and in celebration of their success in different fields of development.

This annual awards ceremony established to celebrate true inspirational success, recognize, project, and honor hardworking personalities and brands whose relentless efforts have aided in the growth of the entrepreneur, community service, entertainment, and creative art industry in the volta Land (Volta Region)

The 2020 edition marks the inaugural Awards ceremony for Volta youths, where the best of the best have been rewarded for their hard work and dedication. The Awards has honored their contributions to communities and to the nation and has recognized and honor some pacesetters and role models to the young generation in the fields of entrepreneurship, leadership, sports, sustainable climate adaptation, music and dance, art and craft, and other areas of national importance.

organizers of the event have promised to continue this unique event that discovers and acknowledges the role models in our community and contributions made by individuals, who have given stalwart service to the development of young voltarians.
